About Us

For more than 18 years, Rena Wohl ran the Nannies' Nook, placing thousands of nannies with families while building solid relationships within the community. Rena retired in 2005, entrusting the agency she loved only to Lauren Runkal, her long-time friend and employee.

Lauren purchased the Nannies' Nook in 2005 with both enthusiasm and a vision of the future of Nannies' Nook.  Lauren's goal is to continue the highest quality of personalized service that the clients of Nannies' Nook have come to expect, while updating and developing new services to better serve our clients.

She is a former nanny and the mother of two children. Lauren worked for many years placing nannies for Nannies' Nook before assuming operations.
