We are a private agency specializing in long term and temporary/short term placements. We have been in business for over 18 years. Our services include:

We serve residents of both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

The staff at Nannies' Nook strives to match the right nanny to the appropriate family. Both family and nanny are screened very carefully for mutual compatibility.

Our nannies must clearly demonstrate a love for children, outstanding moral character, and have the ability and maturity to get along with their new family. An extensive background check and minimum of four to six references are required. The nanny's driving record and criminal background check is verified once an offer has been made to the nanny. Once placed, if not already certified, our nannies must complete a CPR course.

The placement process will begin as soon as your employer's application form is received. Please be advised that it can take four to six weeks to find a nanny. Nannies' Nook will forward appropriate resumes to our clients. It is then the client's responsibility to contact the nanny and set up an interview. When an offer has been made the client must notify our agency and we will send out a contract to be filled out by both nanny and family. This contract then has to be forwarded to our agency.

• Application with Autobiographical letter included
• Photo
• Two Written Personal References
• Three Childcare References
• Security Check including non-criminal documentation and motor vehicle check
• Statement of Health from physician
• High School/ College Transcript
• Non-Smoker
• Personal Interview
• CPR Certification
